• 浏览至安装了 Blackberry Desktop Manager 的电脑至：C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield\UpdateService\agent.exe；
• 右键 agent.exe 查看属性；
• 查看文件版本( XP 电脑移至第二个选项卡 Version 或者版本； Vista 的电脑移至 Details 的选项卡)，若文件版本为 6.0.100.65100 或者更低即被感染，可以通过升级软件来修复。

如果你电脑中的 agent.exe 已经被感染，你可以通过升级 Blackberry Desktop Manager 来修复该问题。

注意：你可以安装的版本最低为 4.5 ，以保证不被感染。要安装 4.7（目前 DM 最高版本），可以参考Blackberry Desktop Manager 4.7 发布（提供下载链接）。

如果你不想升级软件，可以通过安装来自第三方软件供应商 Acresso™ 的补丁程序 FLEXNet® Connect patch 进行修复。

People always don’t want to assume those definitely known issues. Then that’s what/why drive them saying it is OUTLOOK sync enabled simultaneously with Lotus Notes sync, which cause the issue. From my own stand, I do not think it is the key. The Tasks Sync enabled for MS OUTLOOK, made the wireless sync option even disappeared from device Tasks options. And we also fully know it is doing everything locally with PC MS OUTLOOK saying TASKS sync, rather than any wireless redirection or consistency check…

Cause

Cause 1

For BlackBerry smartphones running BlackBerry® Device Software 4.1, this error may occur if a third-party browser channel icon has a HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) redirect.

Cause 2

When a locked BlackBerry smartphone with content protection enabled receives a Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) message, this error may occur.  This error only occurs with the Today themes 4.2.2.

But what’s extremely the root cause then?!:

1. Blackberry Handheld code 4.1 : Browser Issue with missing protocol stack. According to RIM KB10406:

BlackBerry Device Software 4.1 (only)

If you are running BlackBerry Device Software 4.1, complete the following steps:

1. Complete one of the following, depending on the network on which the BlackBerry smartphone is operating:
   • For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA) network, contact your service provider and have the BlackBerry Internet Service Browsing deactivated.
   • For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a Global System for Mobile Communications® (GSM®), remove the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) card from the BlackBerry smartphone.
2. Perform a hard reset on the BlackBerry smartphone. For instructions, see KB02141.
3. Turn the wireless transceiver off. For instructions, see KB13201.
4. Click the Browser icon.
5. Expand the Browser Channels folder.
6. Highlight a third-party browser push channel.
7. Display the menu and click Delete Channel.
8. Repeat steps 7 and 8 for each third-party browser push channel.
9. Complete one of the following, depending on the network on which the BlackBerry smartphone is operating:
   • For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a CDMA network, contact your service provider and have the BlackBerry Internet Service Browsing activated.
   • For BlackBerry smartphones operating on a GSM network, re-insert the SIM card.
10. Turn the wireless transceiver on. For instructions, see KB13201.
11. Register the BlackBerry smartphone on the wireless network. For instructions, see KB00510.
12. Subscribe to the third-party browser push channels again.

But, guess what? RIM definitely deny the workaround described in KB10406 as a factor under 3G networks, except when people travelling to an area where the primary network is CDMA or GSM… Then we should still need the workaround in another word.

And RIM said issue addressed in code 4.2. The device obviously down grade from code 4.2 to 4.1 which we believe for some specific model, the 4.2.2.122 is a sick OS code. While, no matter what, let’s go back to code 4.2 any way and see below:

2. Blackberry Handheld code 4.2, if problem still exists then factors may cause the JVM 523 :

• Content Protection is enabled;
• Blackberry Dimension Today Theme is actived;
• Device is locked;
• User receives MMS message.

The workaround provided in KB10406 :

BlackBerry Device Software 4.2.2

Change the theme on the BlackBerry smartphone to one other than a Today theme by following these steps:

1. From the Home screen on the BlackBerry smartphone, select Options.
2. Select Theme.
3. Select any theme that is not a Today theme.
4. Display the menu and select Activate.

That’s the super joke I have ever heard and never heard before these 20+ years…How should people get into the OS to change the theme when they only see JVM 523/RESET screen repeat circularly…It won’t be the workaround…even though I do not have any better cap for that. But RIM did say issue addressed in code 4.5…Hey buddies, how many models already have code 4.5 available?! You guys must know…

Then what we could do for now rather than waiting for code 4.5 is to

• Upgrade back into the somehow we consider as sick code 4.2;
• Relax Content Protection for affected individuals from BOTH BES and individual device(which means a policy push needed to be performed from BES side);
• Then never consider to use the Theme Blackberry Dimension Today…

We could not stop others on sending us the MMS..Also it seems to be a MUST of facing the dangerous automatically device lock…due to the fixed policy pushed to device even though many guys already get mad on it….Then..so far, that’s all what we could do…
